Privacy Policy
At YouWho, your privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation. We built this platform because we believe the people closest to you deserve a space that doesn't exploit your attention, your data, or your relationships.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed for the service to function: your email address for authentication, your name and optional profile photo so your friends recognize you, and the content you choose to share with them. That's it.
What we will never do
- Sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your information is not a product.
- Train AI models on your content. Your posts, messages, and photos belong to you and your friends — not to a machine learning pipeline.
- Track you across the web. We don't use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or cross-site cookies.
- Show you targeted ads. There are no ads on YouWho. Period.
- Algorithmically rank your feed. Your friends' updates appear in chronological order, the way conversations naturally happen.
- Sell your social graph. Who you're connected to is your business, not ours to monetize.
Your data, your control
Everything you share on YouWho is visible only to people you've explicitly connected with. We do not have public profiles, public metrics, or discoverability features designed to maximize engagement. If you want to leave, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit. Your data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure. Authentication is handled through verified email magic links — no passwords to leak.
